The Department seeks to continuously develop its work in securing the University's needs for services and products in the best possible manner with an exceptional, aligned team trained in modern procurement and systems. This is to support, facilitate, and achieve the vision and mission of the University.

Provide all the needs of the university for faculties, departments, and deanships with specified quantities and qualities at the right time, of the required quality, and reasonable price.

Management Goals

Purchasing and Tenders Department aims:

 

  • Carry out executive tasks to secure the needs of the university after determining the needs of the relevant entities.
  • • Launching competitions according to the approved system, procedures, specifications and standards.
  • • Securing purchase orders after receiving them from the relevant authorities and choosing the most appropriate supplier for the commodity.
  • • Preparing implementation contracts with the institutions and companies awarded in partnership with the relevant entities and under the rules and conditions.
  • • Defining and signing contracts, issuing purchase orders to suppliers and informing the relevant authorities.
